A paraplegic, by definition in medical dictionaries, is someone who has damaged or lost the motor or sensory function of the neurological segments secondary to damage of neural elements within the spinal column.

To put this into plain English, it means you have damaged the nerves in your spine which affects the lower part of your body, but not your arms or upper torso.

So you can use your arms, but not your legs.

Medicine has very little to offer in the way of the effective treatment of injury to nerves.

Obviously, as a paraplegic, you have undergone complicated and extensive injury to arrive at this diagnosis. And possibly extensive surgery, too.

And you may have been given no hope of recovery. Whether you choose to believe that is up to you. And, although a positive attitude may well heal your injuries completely, that’s not what I’m talking about here. Although that is very important.

Homeopaths have an arsenal of medicines which may not only prevent further damage, but may reverse the damage done. And the best way to get homeopathic treatment is to see a professional homeopath.

It’s likely that the treatment will be lengthy and slow, depending on how long ago the injury took place and what sort of treatment you have since had.

But you can also start to treat yourself. I say this with the greatest of confidence, because homeopaths have a wonderfully effective medicine which specifically targets nerve injury.

The medicine is called Hypericum. The suggested potency (strength) is 30c. The suggested dose is once a day. It may take a few days before you notice anything, and a few weeks before you notice a change in your nerves.

The early changes are likely to be you relaxing more, or coming to terms with the injury and your lack of mobility. Your family may notice that more than you do. Or you may find sleep easier.

The later, nerve changes may be a tingling, a burning or a stinging at the site of the damage.

Both these changes indicate something positive and constructive is happening. Some pain can be wonderful to experience, as it heralds a healing!

This medicine does not work for any old nerve symptoms – just those that have been damaged. And although Hypericum is the best medicine for injury to nerves, it is not the only one. You may need to seek professional help from a practising homeopath.

But Hypericum is likely to start the healing process, even if it doesn’t complete it.

So if you have been told you will never get the use of the damaged nerves back again, it’s up to you whether you believe that or not. Limit your mind and you limit your body. Open your mind and you may well heal your paraplegic state altogether.
